"Thing" no. 3, my first blog post. What's happening in Texas?

With all of the national storm coverage this weekend about Hurricane Ike, I couldn't help but wonder what is going on with public libraries in Texas. It sounds like Ike scarred Orange, Texas, for example. Has anyone heard the latest with respect to their library?

Even more important, is there any way to help?
